BC Green Business is operated by the Synergy Foundation, a registered non-profit organization dedicated to catalyzing change and guiding communities and local economies toward a regenerative future. Through creative, hands-on initiatives, Synergy supports communities and businesses in adopting circular economy practices and advancing sustainable business operations. Synergy’s core programs also include Project Zero and the annual Ecostar Awards Gala.
BC Hydro is a provincial Crown corporation, owned by the government and people of British Columbia, Canada. They generate and deliver electricity to 95% of the population of B.C. and serve over five million people. That’s a big responsibility that demands a simple, clear and straightforward mission with a clear vision that’s guided by their values.
Vancity is a values-based financial cooperative serving the needs of its more than 525,000 member-owners and their communities in the Coast Salish and Kwakwaka’wakw territories. Vancity has been a leader in environmental sustainability through their internal operations and through the investments they make in the communities they serve. With Vancity’s support as BC Green Business’ Strategic Partner, the program has grown from a small operation into a provincewide leader in environmental resiliency. Business members of Vancity Credit Union are eligible for a 50% discount on their first year of the program.
